or the Bob's Big Boy that was on the corner...or watched the boats done up with Christmas lights, every year. When they built the Marina Pacifica, and before that that other shopping center with the "Food and Drug Store" market - that changed the whole feel of the area.
I disliked when the area went from white to high sodium yellow lights. It made everything so dungy and creepy at night.
