For every cloture, there are more filibusters. I'd love to show you statistics on filibusters because that would look even more disgusting, but the senate does not keep them for some reason.
You don't own something when anything you desire can be stopped at will by your opponents. You can't even work out joint legislation when the other side refuses to work with you.
The Dream Act is not law. It will require a different congress to make it so.
