You still have not addressed the original point. Having been further challenged on the issue, you now write five paragraphs about why the Democrats/Kerry suck still without trying to indicate why the original assetrion [ that Rumsfeld lied] is false.
When people around here start blabbering about your lacking intellectual honesty or integrity, this is what they mean. You are not the debate partner you were before the war. Maybe you just got old and feeble minded, but more likely I think you just gave up your integrity so you wouldn't have to give up supporting this Administration.

Why do I bring Kerry up in the Gotcha Fest? Because he's the main reason there IS a "Gotcha Fest." This "issue," the "paid actor issue," and the others are pathetic attempts to make up for the fact that the Democrats, in their leftist Bush-hating primary hysteria, wound up waking up in the morning hung over, and with John Kerry on the next pillow.
2.
Worst of all, the Democrats saw this coming when the field started to narrow down to Dean, Clark, Edwards and Kerry. It's no coincidence that the attacks on Bush from the Democrats and the media stepped up considerably during the primary process.
3.
The only hope in hell the Democrats have is some massive screwup by Bush, the equivalent of the blue dress. So far, things like the post that started this thread are pretty much the best they can come up with.
4.
So, we are left with Democrats inwardly praying for economic failure, high unemployment, failure in Iraq, bin Laden running free, high oil prices, and generally enough pain and misery to allow their candidate to win.
5.
Now that I come to think about it, the Left historically has always had a lot of trouble gaining power in nations and societies where people are prosperous, content, well-fed, and safe. Hmm. Cui bono?
