It is surprising to see how "War for oil" is so quickly dismissed*, yet France/Russia/Germany in a "No war for oil" conspiracy is so easily swallowed.

It couldn't possibly be that there are certain governments - and even more populaces - in the world that did not see the Iraq problem as such an integral part of the war on terror that the US did.

*I put myself in that category too - for the most part
