But, I think you embarrass yourself with this one. So the French may have had a large commercial stake in Iraq. So what. And maybe they acted in their own self-interests? Ain't that what you call capitalism.
The US saw it, came, and took it away from the Iraqis and France, and gave it to Halliburton.
It was about oil.
Now, how about the US and Pakistan. With GWB & Co. bitching about North Korea, when their buddies Pakistan are the folks responsible for spreading nuclear technology across the land.
