An interesting twist

Remember when I called you 'Lord R' on CE? Thats because I know someone in pgh with a middle name of Daniel who I just told about the HZ- 'Lord R' is our nickname for him at work.

To be sure, I traced you through a few web-based traceroute apps. On one trace I could have SWORN panckets were going from the trace originator (Universities at California) THROUGH Verizon owned nodes in the PA, which is why I thought you were him.

Other Traces had the trace going to Australia, and then disappearing behind what looked like a proxy firewall.

I thought the second trace results were noise, and so I assumed you were Lord R. When you denied it, I assumed you were an Aussie, and that the trace to pittsburgh was actually an erroneous trace back to my own IP.

This could be the case, or in light of what you posted, it could be that one trace took me to your gegraphic location, and one trace took me to the location of the spoofer. Though for the life of me I can't figure out what 'black hat' scenario would cause that. Robert migt, though.
