This article hints that the announcement has to do with Opportunity. The SpaceRef article only says, Rover Finding.
Oh, well, either way... maybe both rovers have found something conclusive. I h ope it has more to do with lake brine, borax (ok, even carbonates, RC) at Gusev. If so, Nathalie Cabrol should also be present at that meeting. We'll see.
