Translating the press conference guest list into what was found:

Steve Squyres: We learned some cool details about water on Mars

Ed Weiler: We found evidence of past liquid water on Mars

Sean O'Keefe: We found evidence of running/standing surface water on Mars

George Bush: We found fossilized life on Mars!

Dick Cheney: We found deposits of oil from the fossilized life on Mars, and will be launching "Halliburton I" to investigate next year

Don Rumsfeld: We found PRESENT DAY LIFE on Mars, and are launching a preemptive nuclear strike against the buggers, just to be safe
