It sure smells like it.

It LOOKS like the road we COULD go down on; but I'm hoping there won't be an economic collapse. The government is surely preparing for one. They know something we don;t know. Visions of OMEGA MAN come to mind.

It's our war machine, our hubris.
Our MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX that "could be" our downfall.
Just like Rome.

Or maybe they've seen the future with all those quantum "jump rooms".

I wouldn't want to be living in any of the big cities.
One thing IS for sure. And that's food production will fall because crops are failing. If gas gets any higher, inflation will slap us up the side of the head. And even if ONE major natural disaster hits the US, the TRANSPORT of food will be severely affected....affecting millions.

The New Madrid Fault zone is weakening, the plates are shifting. California's getting ready for the Big One. The Canary Islands have started rumbling; there's a super volcano under Mt. Vesuvius. The East Coast could get inundated with a tsunami. (They're evacuating military bases around Washington, DC as we speak)

I suggest you have a second place to go to....make sure you can grow your own food there and have clean water. Know your neighbors, make sure there is farmland and farmers in your area; get to know them. Stock up, have backup generators, don't forget the bullets.
