What's so frustrating is the still deep resentment in the US against the countries (and the UN), and their citizens, that didn't want a war in Iraq. We see now how right those countries were, but in the eyes of a majority of US citizens, they were wrong to go against the US president's opinion.
This is why "patriotism" is a thing of the past (for us), politically, with all the sufferance it caused in Europa and elsewhere because of Europeans.
Nobody holds the truth, nobody can imply being good by claiming the other side is evil.
I don't feel free to express my feelings because of the openness of the web (if I want to travel to the US).
I wish a majority of americans realized what happened. Unfortunately, it's going on on their other side of the world and what goes on there, doesn't usually affect them. Maybe this will change, but I'm not optimistic.
Beliefs are what divide people. Doubt unites them.
