Ollie North - now there's a right-wing scumbag!
Perjurer, drug-dealer, guilty of treason. And they adore him.
PBS show regarding Columbian drug dealers showed a C-130 setup in a sting. The cover was blown at the last minute by North. They were busting his ring, the one which financed arms for the Contras. (And if it weren't true, the truth being a defense against slander, you would see Ollie owning all PBS stations.)
A friend of mine what was a Colonel working at the Pentagon at the time said the military thought he ought to be shot.
Bad guy. And adored by the right.
