Obviously Gore would have done very different things since his political philosophy is different.

If you want to fantasize credibility becoming an issue (not unlikely where Gore is involved) in an altenate history Gore administration, you can be certain that McAuliffe, Kennedy, and all the usual suspects would be hailing Gore as the second coming of FDR. The mean spirited GOP would be the bad guys.

Neither side is worth the powder to blow them to hell.

I am pretty well pissed at Bush right this minute and I may stay home next November but my reasons have nothing to do with the Democrat's political gospel. He needs to act like a leader and not another guy trying to get elected.

There are no good ideas without proper follow through. Politics squanders opportunity and brings failure to most good ideas.

It's a damn shame that a vacuous wag like Kerry is the alternative.
