I'm the last person on the Zone who would say that. There are a few areas I know more than the average Joe. One is the oil industry. Another is Philadelphia politics. Another is the Philadelphia Eagles.
Yet another is hydrogeology (part of my Masters). If I see something patently bleeding obvious that I know needs correcting, I'll state it.
Maybe, just maybe, dismissing a full scale mine study as "looking a hole in the ground" was seen on my part as being perhaps the stupidest thing I have read all week.
