I don't think the guy was fired at all. If I recall, In late 2003 he assigned a different set of tasks in another state. I think at the time of the production of the documentary on 60min he had just been offered the relocation. The relocation was a sofetening of the stated intention of removing him, but still suboptimal as far as he is concerned. I think he quit.

So he wasn't, as you claim, fired and I don't think it was a year ago.

So in the end, what exactly ARE you saying? He wasn't fired, the issue he is objecting to is the Bush Admin pulling the plug on the investigation of a major screw up at a mining company, not the original failure of the 'slurry plug' that happened in the CLinton Administration.
