Missing from the criticism in the Arab world of Sharon's plan is the clear fact that he has agreed to a Palestinian State, he is dismantling Israeli settlements that started after 2001 (a specific demand of the road map), and is allowing right of return of refugees to the new Palestinian State. What concessions hav ethe Palestinians made? Zero.

It is preposterous for Palestinians to insist on right of return of palestinian descendants to land WITHIN Israel. The settlements Israel is keeping are largely suburbs of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. In light of the continued hostility and the frozen negotiations, this disengagement plan is really the most positive step anyone could ever expect. Kudos to Bush and Blair for supporting Sharon.
