We seem to have two people who have drawn different conclusions from the same information. I don't have a transcript of the 2002 testimony. All we have to work with, as far as I know, is the background briefing given to reporters. I'm having trouble keeping track of all this.

Clarke's take on the contradictions in that briefing is, basically, that he was lying back then because it was his job.
