A couple of thoughts on that. First, both the President and NS Advisor lied about the contents of this memo. Some of us in the country believe it's important to be able to believe the President, especially regarding 'casus belli"

Second, coupled with other information they received about airplanes, they had everything except a map and flight numbers had they chosed to see them instead of Iraqi WMD.

And one was very real, the other imaginary.

I would think that being able to whitewash this is hard, and the mark of a True Believer.
