I'd vote for Lieberman over Bush in a heartbeat. I think a great many others would, too. If it wasnt' for the war I'd be staunchly opposed to Bush. If I do vote for Bush, I'll be holding my nose. Right before the Iraq invasion in '03, we weren't sure what was going to happen. Was the nation going to get coated with weapons grade anthrax? Would there be massive terror stikes? Nobody knew. But John Ashcroft launched a major federal law enforcement effort. Against vendors of drug paraphanalia on the world wide web.

Yep, that's right. The FBI is putting out the cover story that some lone ranger cooked up the Daschle and Leahey anthrax in a cabin. Or underneath a pond. (Was it a biosafety level-4 pond?) And John Ashcroft busted internet bong sellers. I will never forget that.

In 2000, we had a contest between 2 mediocre men, and in '04, we will have the same.

Kerry is a lightweight, politically speaking, and personally unappealing to boot. If he doesn't whip himself into shape real quick, the Dems are gonna get walloped in November.

I guess I'm a one-issue voter. If Kerry makes some adult noises about the war, I might vote for him anyway.
