Frank, you give me waaaay too much credit. I'm not worth this much energy, honest.

I'm a harmless curmudgeon, unhappily viewing my country going to hell and commenting upon it.

Watching another generation repeating the mistakes of the past, having to see my country adopt the tactics of the worst people on Earth and rationalizing that as would a child, "they made me do it", and even worse,

seeing it doesn't work but magnifies the tragedies.

Then they try it harder, still doing what the badguys do, but feeling superior to them. Go figure.

And, seriously, if I were conservative, you'd be applauding me to the heavens. Look at the response to ebnelson. But that's another story.

Certainly what you do is none of my business. I notice that the "detente" you so ably suggested and is such a great idea, is from your point of view selective, which means no change. That's not my issue. I'll try to adopt it strictly for my benefit.

And, with no noticeable display of modesty, I would add that I'm not worth that much of your concern.
