The ISS doesn't recycle water? It must recycle at least some, I wouldn't think it could hold enough for those folks for that length of time.
Maybe not urine, for cultural reasons maybe, but surely other water. I'm hoping, anyway. Water doesn't exactly grow on trees up there, or "droppeth from the heavens", as Shakespeare mentioned about it and mercy.
Looks like a fascinating book, I just found it at the closest big bookstore. Will pick it up later today or Monday.
