There will be no Draft under current conditions:

1. The military does not want a draft.

2. The people do not want a draft.

3. The congress does not support a draft.

4. Bush does not want a draft

5. Recruiting and re-enlistment are satisfactory.

6. We have untapped NG and reserve resources

7. We have over 150,000 troops deployed in Europe and Korea that can be used if needed (I think they are needed).

8. It would be political suicide.

The talk of a Draft is just more political pot stirring.
