Orthodox Islam doesn't do representational art. That's why there's all that geometric and Arabic-script-based art in mosques. Islam is based on the Word of God as laid out in the Old and New Testaments and the Koran; images are idolatrous. The mortal cult of personality rivalling the Deity, and all that.

I have wondered why these "followers of Muhammed" keep appearing in the streets with pictures of bin Laden, and so forth. Can it be that they don't really understand their religion? It wouldn't surprise me in the least. After all, we have devout Christians here who think that war is an expression of Christianity...
