re: Slow process
Within countries, there are parties in favor and other against Turkey's admission.
For me, it's fine, but I also want the EU's future constitution not to mention anything about a specific religion. Europe is perhaps mostly christian, but it doen't mean it must be signified.
The EU will include 455 Million inhabitants!
I read the US and the EU are each one's largest foreign market.
It's a slow process and the constitution if voted could allow any country to opt out and the UK might very well do it.
Those 10 new countries asked to join the EU, so there must be a reason for that.
