The Soyuz capsule doesn't have its ablative heatshield anymore (well, part of it), the parachutes protection is gone, and rockets ignite at the last moment burning some parts of the capsule.
Besides, the capsule can be sold to amateurs or given to states and a museum.
Lots of commercial or PR opportunities.
