The originating website is here.<?a> I don't see a lot of detail on who is involved, or who started it. A trackback to the registration shows that the domain name was registered by a Lewis Waterman, who shows up primarily in Google as the inventor of the modern fountain pen. Died in 1901. I have posted the following on their BBS: Who founded this board, and funded it? Some details on this would be instructive. Who is Lewis Waterman? It is entirely possible that this was instigated by a political group, perhaps a supposed "non-party" group like Moveon.org. However, this would not invalidate the opinions of the military men being solicited. Waiting to see what this letter actually looks like.
