I never cared much for Rush Limbaugh. His ego is too much for me to stomach.

Now if you are talking about the rock group Rush, I am all ears :) (I have told people I like Rush- referring to the band, and they thought I was talking about Limbaugh LOL).

I am actually (choke! Gasp! Feeling faint) agreeing with you Bowser. (What the hell is in my coffee?)

I understand that our solders are under extreme pressure, but no human should treat another human like that. If the solders that did this did so because of extreme stress, they should be given counseling and not prosecuted. If they did it because they wanted to for the fun of it, they should be prosecuted.

Same is true for our police. We see them beating criminals on the news. Like solders, they have a stressful and thankless job. Police deal with the scum of America, with the possibility of getting shot to death. Solders face a similar daily stress.

If they mistreat other people because they are under extreme stress and have lost it, they need help. If they mistreat other people because they enjoy it, then they need to spend some time behind bars.

Perhaps a solution to stop such abuse would be to have solders and police be observed by shrinks, and maybe an occasional visit. Someone appearing to be under extreme stress should be taken out for a while.
