It's an embarrasing day to call one's self an American today.
Bush backs Rumsfeld, Sharon and GITMO. He also was warned back in December by Int Red Cross that american military were participating in atrocities and torture in Afganistan and Abu. From that I have to conclude Bush was fully aware and condoned this hideous behavior. Like the gaurds said, the command came from above. There certainly is similarity in charactor with the one who was removed from power several months ago in Iraq and the one calling the shots now. Unfortunately it doesn't matter how you spin the story, the world makes up their own mind.
