A story of rape in Lebanon during the Israeli occupation.
A bunch of reporters were sitting around the lobby of their hotel in Beruit playing cards and drinking. Suddenly another reporter came running in and told them that an Israeli solder had raped a Lebanese woman. The reporters piled out of the lobby into their cars, but before they could leave the parking lot, another reporter came over and waved to them. He announced that the rapist was a Palestinian, not an Israeli. The reporters parked their cars, walked back into the hotel lobby, and resumed their card game and drinking.
Moral of the story: "If a crime ain't done by one of the good guys, it ain't news."
