If I responded to every load you've dumped here over the past week or so, I wouldn't have any time to eat.
- Saddam was torturing innocent citizens whose crime was wanting to be free. The people being abused in the prison were Baathists, Islamists, and others whose crime was murdering and attempting to murder Iraqis and Americans and return the nation to tyranny. Given many of your posts in the past, I suspect that you are puzzled as to what the difference is. Fine.
- If we didn't care about what happened to the Iraqi people we would have bombed their cities into rubble instead of losing hundreds of our soldiers in attempting to take out only the bad guys. How many people did the U.S. lose in Kosovo? Remember why?
- A little reasoning would show that for the people of Iraq, whose sole real export is oil, it might be a little more important to protect the infrastructure of their only major industry rather than a museum.
The fact that the entire museum flap turned out to be a load of horseshit anyway has, as usual, escaped you.

Okay, just this once
