The gut response is to dismiss the court-martials and throw the investigation out the window.


I hope not. How we treat our own should have absolutly nothing to do with how they treat our own. By dismissing the courtmartials we would only show that we have no respect for our own governing system. Put them through the court martial and let the accused stand on their own merits. To react any other way will only make us look reactionary. I'd prefer America not look so reactionary, because to do so invites the terrorists to use it against us.

We don't negotiate with terrorists for a reason. Likewise we shouldn't decide criminal matters based on terrorism either.
