You might want to respect veterans of foreign wars.
The veterans who actually got off-shore. The ones who completed their obligations. The ones who got shot at. Veterans who were in foreign countries, no veterans who were in the service while other veterans were overseas.
Those veterans, the ones who never got out of the US in time of a war, usually had some sort of "guardian angel".
To sneer at a vet who actually went over there is pretty low even for a conservative, don't you think?
