I've been following this for a while. Like you say, no hard data, and may never be.

Some questions:

If this was a military payload, what would it have been? SCUDs are liquid-fueled, and would not have been transported loaded. Nerve gas doesn't blow up like this. What blew up?

Were Syrian techs really there? Why?

Some sources have sized the explosion as much larger than was publicly released by the North Koreans. What does this mean?

And a really good question that will never be answered: was this an accident?
