Royal Dutch Shell is not an American company, that device will not be anchored in American waters, I doubt if more than a handful of Americans will work on it, or use its energy.
And I bet somebody will regulate the hell out of it, in spite of your implied snark that our regulations and our Obama investments are anti-jobs and only the largesse of the shrugging Atlases on this side of the pond, totally unrestrained by any government "interference", stand between us and total ruin.
Come to think of it British Petroleum wasn't American either. Is it "drill, baby, drill" or "invest, invest invest" that's actually at issue here.
