Weapons of destruction are easily made, that we dont see monthly bombings tells me that the terrorists dont have many people over here... To make TATP requires 3 easily obtainable ingredients and a bowl, I dont know if the airport detectors can detect it, since it isnt a nitrate based explosive...

I once spent a few days studying to see if I could come up with a way to detect the stuff remotely with lasers, it probably can be done, but i dont know how
