It's unthinkable to pretend this second war was started by Saddam's invasion of Kuwait in 1990. The world community stopped him, then, and the UN came in disarmed him, imposed sanctions, no fly zones, inspected the country, returned back later and couldn't find reasons to believe Saddam was again a threat to the world.
Therefore, attacking Iraq in 2003, was unprovoked.
It is common sense.
