There are no indications that she took her bike beyond the security checkpoint. But even if she parked it there and hitched a ride on a tour bus instead doesn't mean it's a fraud. Maybe most of her trip was on a bike, only the last leg with a tour group?

Maybe Neil Gaiman doesn't like her for some reason.
