One of the most irritating argument techniques here is to use a phrase which obviously implies something, then when called on it, get huffy that anyone could possibly have interpreted it that way.

What the hell do you think "Rest of the World" means when used in this context? Obviously, the implication is that the Important Nations disagree with us, and the ones who agree with us are Unimportant.

The coalition members include, among others, Australia, Denmark, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Poland, South Korea, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. Coalition countries account for well over half of the world's GDP.

Out of 26 NATO members, 16 are coalition members.

It is beyond debate that the U.S. is carrying most of the load. What the hell else is new in international efforts? If this were a certified, stamped-and-approved U.N. mission, the U.S. would still be carrying most of the load.

The recent $87 billion package included $10 billion of U.S. money for Afghanistan, a certified and approved international action.

All the other nations have pledged $7 billion over the next three years.
