Those hellfire attacks achieve the results Al Qaeda is seeking for: hurting lots of people who otherwise would not have joined their ranks.
Al Qaeda isn't a country, isn't a nation, isn't something that can be hit by bombs to weaken it.
When will the Bush administration understand that?
