Hydrogen mining for Venus...

Hi All

JimO... mining moons seemed to be your favorite volatile source, but you did describe hydrogen scooping from Saturn. I still think that's the best option for converting Venus' carbon dioxide into something more useful, with a modification. Using regular photosynthesis for making oxygen needs hydrogen specifically from water thus exacerbating the excess oxygen problem. An alternative is reacting it thusly: CO2 + 2(H2) ==> C + 2(H2O) - but I have no idea if that's feasible for photosynthesis as we know it. Would make a pretty image - water rain and diamond-oid snow...
