Normally I'm the eternal optimist about the rovers and usually blow off a lack of pictures and reports about them as the rover teams catching up a bit after going 24/7 for too long but generally when that happens you lose pictures from both craft. In the last 4 or 5 days we're getting new pictures from Opportunity and nothing from Spirit since SOL 160. What makes me even more worried is the last pictures from the craft were badly out of focus and, with the reports of a possibly bad motor/drivebox and an out of synch failed data transmission the other day, it's a little bit more disconcerting. I'm going to be anxiously scanning the Exploratorium site on Monday morning for something new about Spirit. If anyone on here knows anything about it please let on to the rest of us.
