I think there was offense.
That is possible the biggest problem with Ed.
He has this agenda and will push it with almost any nonsense. He sets himself up as some sort of expert when he clearly isn't.
To me the biggest offense is his making assertions then not backing them up with evidence. Then explaining why he doesn't by writing I wouldn't understand the explanation. There are others here who would without looking things and they would know his evidence to be bogus. This is the true reason he doesn't dig deeper holes for himself it's his own lack of knownledge that stops him.
This pretty much makes him a crank.
