They must not have seen the new evidence.

Also, check out Rob’s post below

"The Bush administration has never said that they participated in the 9/11 attack. They've said, and our staff has confirmed, there have been numerous contacts between Iraqi intelligence and al-Qaeda over a period of 10 years, at least. And now there's new intelligence, and this has come since our staff report has been written because, as you know, new intelligence is coming in steadily from the interrogations in Guantanamo and in Iraq and from captured documents. And some of these documents indicate that there is at least one officer of Saddam's Fedayeen, a lieutenant colonel, who was a very prominent member of al-Qaeda. That still has to be confirmed. But the vice president was right when he said that he may have things that we don't yet have. And we are now in the process of getting this latest intelligence." (MR. LEHMAN of the 9/11 Commission)

Bowser, your article says it was determine long ago. Apparently there is some new evidence. They have not confirmed it yet, so we shall see.

Your article;

The CIA concluded "a long time ago" that an al-Qaida associate who met with two of the Sept. 11 hijackers in Malaysia was not an officer in Saddam Hussein's army, as alleged Sunday by a Republican member of the 9/11 commission.

And I would expect a news source to spell Al Qaeda correctly (I am not the best speller in the world, but I am not a reporter either) so how credible is your story anyway?

Face it Bowser, President Bush was not lying when he said there was a link between Al Qaeda and Iraq. There was a link. There were many links.
