Bob Dole realized that he couldn't do his job as a senator and run for president at the same time...
so he resigned from the Senate months before the election. That's class. Kerry has only been in the Senate for a handful of votes this year (14 out of 112 according to this article from last week), essentially taking a paycheck and almost never showing up for work. Don't the people of Mass. deserve equal representation in the Senate? Should someone who almost never shows up for work be pulling in about $150K a year?
