Anti-Americanism's new face (AKA one of Saddam's Lawyers)

Here are the political views of one of Saddam's lawyers. (image) See if anyone here recognizes themselves in his words... ( I wont name any names )

Words such as:

I ardently oppose American and more broadly western neo-imperialism which is being imposed through the exploitation of the majority of the people of the world and the economic and military dominance of the United States. I believe that all people have a right and a duty to take all necessary measures to end the United States’ inhumane dominance of the lives of billions of people.

I believe in the right of all people to make an informed choice about their government and to participate in their government in a meaningful way. To achieve this I believe that it is necessary for every person to be guaranteed basic education according to their abilities, the basic health care that is needed to live a meaningful and quality life, and the basic means of subsistence.

This guy's rhetoric is straight out of the leftist Center For the Study of Democratic Institutions (CFSDI) papers written nearly 40 years ago. It sounds good on the surface just like "equality for all" sounds good until you really think about it and realize that society only functions when you have different folks doing different things and that a society can't equalize the masses without destroying productive society.

He promises to be a source of amusement as he wages his war on "American neoimperialism" or more properly America as a power broker and exporter of freedom. Supporting mass-murdering tin hat tyrants is part of the leftist vision. We have several posters here who say Saddam was not a threat - clearly these folks were not Iraqi citizens or US F16 pilots flying and enforcing the no-fly zone. There tacit approval of Saddam's regime is unbelievable and morally bankrupt. Surely some folks here wax nostalgic for Pol Pot, Idi Amin and Stalin.

Not that there's anything wrong with that of course.

What the he-- am I saying of course there's something wrong with that!

Wake the he-- up!
