"Surely some folks here wax nostalgic for Pol Pot, Idi Amin and Stalin."

"It's just difficult for me to imagine anybody in my little home town in rural North Carolina looking up to and respecting someone more than John Kerry."

...both are determiners. In another life I was a lawyer too.

Show me someone who can support the Butcher of Baghdad's regime and they might as well have thrown in their hat with the aforementioned. They all were loved by the most violent members of their nations' masses as well.

And what's more - those that prefer a massacring thug to a democratic body are proof of the shallowness of their supoosed global humanitarian convictions.

Surely some of Saddam's lawyers are indirectly paid with money from moveon.org and other anti-Bush organizations from around the world. It is difficult for me to imagine that, if it would insure Bush's defeat, there are not folks here who would contribute to his defense as well.

Surely, it is difficult for me to imagine that you might not know some of these folks.
