Sounds like the ultimate WMD. Also sounds impractical to say the least. However, diverting smaller objects like comets and asteroids is doable in the not so distant future (50-100 years?). Smashing a large, icey, nitrogen-rich comet into Mars might just be the ticket to fast terraforming.
