Lance Armstrong will become legendary as the first cyclist racer to win 6 times the Tour de France. It's going to be extremely difficult for anyone to beat that record.
If he likes 7, why not next year!
But Eddy Merckx is still the best ever.

On july 21st 1969, Eddy Merckx won his first Tour de France, during our national Holiday and the very day of the first steps on the Moon.
The Newspapers issued special editions (I still have 2 of them) and we really sensed history that day!
Unforgettable.
