re: Credulity Curve

I didn't believe Bush so much as I believed the CIA and other intelligence sources, and Powell's assessment of them.

I also drew conclusions based on Saddam's previous behavior, something that is apparently not taken into account by a lot of people here.

Of course, almost everyone else in Washington drew the same conclusions based on the same CIA information and that of other intelligence agencies, including the prior administration.

Still looking for that "Silver Bullet," aren't you? Hey, the DUI thing almost worked last time. Maybe you'll luck out. It's sure easier than convincing America Kerry will do the job necessary.

"I defended this country as a young man and I will defend it as President. Let there be no mistake: I will never hesitate to use force when it is required. Any attack will be met with a swift and certain response. I will never give any nation or international institution a veto over our national security. And I will build a stronger American military."

- excerpt from Kerry's speech tonight

If we're attacked, he'll respond. I suppose that's something. And finally, he'll start voting for a stronger military.
