Some people are going to want to place the blame for every terrorist act aimed at the US or any coalition member at Bush's feet. While I think Iraq *may* have been a mistake, I also think it's partisan foolishness to engage in mantra-like accusations against the current admin.
It's like suggesting that after 9/11, the terrorists were spent, and if we'd just left them alone they'd have slinked back under their rocks. Who remembers reading that quote from bin Laden where he says something to the effect that people like to bet on the strong horse? It's almost humorous to consider that he was speaking of himself. At the time, I don't think we had any choice but to prove to him and his followers that in a race with the US, they'll never be the "strong horse."
Yeah, they could hurt us again, badly. But to simply say "It's Bush's fault," does not make it so.
