They closed the Baghdad office. Al Jazeera continues to broadcast from neighboring nations. They were inciting violence, not just having a "different opinion." If a cable news network in America urged all their listeners to burn a black neighbor's house down, you might see a similar response from the FCC.

This still leaves many other television stations, only two of which (to the best of my knowledge) are strongly pro-Western.

I think al Jazeera's correspondent might not exactly be the best source for this story.
